Our Matcha Izu is a blend of Chinese and Kenyan green teas that has been ground into a Japanese style powdered green tea. Matcha is a powdered tea used in Japanese tea ceremonies and contains a high amount of antioxidants and minerals. A highly stimulating tea. This tea has been blended for using in cooking. Perfect for baking, adding to smoothies or making Matcha Lattes.
PREPARATION: 1g per 100ml of water, Water: 50-60°C. Whisk in a medium size bowl till it makes a froth.
