Colombia is well known for producing a high quality washed coffee beans and it’s the second-largest producer of coffee in the world. Excelso is a grading term for exportable coffee from Colombia.
Our Colombian Excelso is grown in the department of Antiquia, which is located in the central northwestern part of Colombia with a narrow section that borders the Caribbean Sea. It’s a hilly area where the coffee is grown at 1500 – 2000m above sea level. Fertile soil and a suitable climate ensure ideal conditions for good production.
