Keemun – Qimen – China Red Tea
A traditional loose leaf Chinese red tea. This tea was first produced in the 19th Century. At the time China was famous for making and exporting green tea, which was rivalled by India’s expensive black teas and the Chinese were keen to find an alternative. It became a popular ingredient for Breakfast Tea blends!
The infusion is rich and dark red with a sweet and naturally smokey flavour.

Preparation: Use filtered and freshly boiled water 100°C
Allow 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per 200ml cup +1 for the pot. Infuse for 3-5 min.
