The Meleng tea garden was established in 1852, which makes it one of the oldest tea gardens in Assam. It spreads across both banks of the river Meleng and so it earned it’s name.
This superb quality tea contains a high amount of golden tips (tips = two young leaves and a golden bud). They produce an aromatic, deep amber infusion with a slightly malty and dark honey- like flavour.
