Origin of teas: India and Rwanda
Traditionally a British afternoon tea consists of tea, small finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jams and sometimes small cakes and pastries. Afternoon tea blends tended to be lighter than breakfast ones to compliment the foods eaten in the afternoon and traditionally came from India or Sri Lanka.
